Classic car guru reveals 3 cheap motors including world’s ‘ugliest ever car’ that could soon be worth tens of thousands

A CLASSIC car guru has revealed three cheap motors that could soon be worth thousands.

Among them are the world’s “ugliest ever car” which was once a regular sight on Britain’s roads.

Matt Richardson runs the YouTube channel Furious Driving where he road tests a wide range of classic and modern vehicles.

In the petrol head’s most recent video he shared a list of future classics which he reckons could rise in price.

Sharing his top three ones-to-watch, he recommended Brits get in there quickly before the iconic models of yesteryear are snapped up.

The first on his list was the Audi A2.

The model was the smallest produced by the German auto giant through the late 90s and early 00s.

For a small runaround they offer a reasonable amount of space and some of the five-door models boast a top speed of 126mph.

While not to everyone’s taste, Matt said some used A2s have already rocketed to £5,000 and could go further.

A Ford KA was 18-year-old Wayne Rooney’s trusty steed as he impressed in his early days at Everton in 2002.

The first generation model landed on Britain’s shores in 1996 and became a household name over the next 12 years.

But despite looking “extraordinary”, the Ford KA may be a wise investment, Matt says.

He explained: “Richard Perry-Jones [Ford designer] and his team breathed on it and that made it incredibly good to drive.

“So, tiny car, cheap to run, but rewarding behind the wheel, what a fantastic combination.”

The Sun found a Ford KA with over 40,000 miles up for sale at £3,500.

Despite being one of the most recognisable cars that graced the UK’s road network, the Fiat Multipla was not a commercial success.

The Italian automobile behemoth only ever produced 400,000 of the peculiar six-seater trundle-alongs.

But their bizarre design and practicality saw the car become a cult classic among car enthusiasts.

Matt explained: “The pre-facelift Fiat Multipla, built from 1998 to 2004… It was properly pig-ugly, a gawky-looking weird thing.”

But he stressed the “iconic” design triggers memories among Brits and that could hold serious value in the future.

“I think this is definitely a future classic”, he said.

We found a Fiat Multipla on sale for a whopping £5,900, so you better get your skates on.
