Toto Wolff calls for more transparency
Mercedes boss Toto Wolff expressed doubt on Red Bull’s investigation into Christian Horner and called for more transparency.
“There is a lady in the organisation who indicated that there was a problem, it was investigated and yesterday we all received the message that it was okay,” Wolff said after the three-week investigation into alleged inappropriate behaviour by Horner was dismissed.
“I believe that a major sport needs more transparency on such dangerous topics. I wonder what the position of the leadership is. I don’t think it should remain vague as it is now.
“We are outsiders and, of course, we don’t know exactly what is going on. But, looking at just a statement, it doesn’t seem to me how things should go in today’s time.
“Although, in Formula 1, we may be in our own bubble and others are satisfied with that.”
Why does the F1 2024 season start on a Saturday?
The first race of the F1 2024 season takes place on a Saturday due to the sacred time of Ramadan.
Ramadan starts on Sunday, March 10 which means the Saudi Arabian GP has moved forward by a day to Saturday, March 9.
And to coincide with F1 rules that there must be at least a week between two races, the opening Bahrain GP has also been moved forward from Sunday, March 3 to Saturday, March 2.

Geri reportedly refused to see her husband after his sext leak but was talked into it by his family.
She was said to be adamant about not seeing her husband, but Horner’s mother pleaded with her to publicly support him as a gesture of solidarity, The Mirror reported.

Geri Halliwell has been urged to make her husband Christian Horner after texts allegedly showing the racing boss “sexting” a colleague leaked.
Relationship expert Jo Hemmings said: “She may well decide to dodge the racetrack altogether and avoid the glare of the press, public and his F1 colleagues.
“If she has sense she will go from the airport to somewhere private and call up her closest friends to get their support and reassurance.
“To let him stew in the knowledge that she knows and is in the country but is avoiding him.
“That means he will be obliged to make the approach to her and grovel to get to see her to discuss.”
